Tangi joined Multiwave Technologies in 2024 as an MRI physicist within the MRI4All industrial Chair with France’s National Research Agency (CNRS) and Aix-Marseille University. He is in charge of the development of imaging sequences dedicated to low-field MRI.

Tangi completed his PhD in electronics and signal processing at the University of Lyon I in 2012 with a focus on in vivo multi-dimensional MR spectroscopic techniques. His postdoctoral research focused on the development of novel MR imaging and spectroscopic sequences on preclinical and clinical MRI systems with magnetic fields ranging from 4.7 T to 21.1 T. He developed various MR acquisition methods for ultrafast, metabolic and functional imaging applications. His latest research projects at the CRMBM-CEMEREM CNRS lab (imaging department at Marseille’s hospital) focused on phosphorus 3D brain imaging at 7T for epilepsy diagnosis.

After work, Tangi enjoys analog photography, brewing beer and fixing stuff.
