Michael joined Multiwave in 2025 as Vice President of Engineering, based in Massachusetts, USA.

Prior to Multiwave, he was VP Engineering at Samsung Neurologica from 2012 to 2023. While at Samsung Neurologica, Michael was an integral part of the executive team, leading the vision, design and development of numerous industry-leading CT imaging scanners. Devices like BodyTom, SmartMSU and OmniTom for mobile CT Stroke Units have differentiated the company and positively impacted P&L performance and market share.

From 2004 to 2012, Michael was with Neurologica. A founding member, he held numerous roles including Principal Engineer, Clinical Affairs Manager and Product Manager. By leading the development of CereTom, the world’s first full-body mobile CT scanner, he was central in securing startup funding, making a name for the company in the competitive medical device space and gaining the attention of Samsung, resulting in a profitable acquisition. Additionally during this time, Michael was charged with launching and managing the Clinical Affairs department. Building the organization from scratch, he designed processes, outlined policies, recruited team members and authored training materials as the first employee in the company to travel to client sites and work hand-in-hand with physicians and other healthcare professionals across the global to provide on-site training and patient care.

Prior to Neurologica, Michael was a Senior Software Engineer with Analogic. Working with industry frontrunners such as Phillips Medical Systems, Siemens and the TSA on the development of mission-critical technologies, he quickly gained valuable insights into the workings of big corporations while collaborating with key stakeholders of these Fortune 500 companies to resolve problems and streamline product functionality.

Michael has an MS in Organizational Leadership from Norwich University and a BS in Computer Science from Salem State University. He’s a member of the Medical Imaging & Technology Alliance (MITA).
